Faux leather is nothing new. However, attractive, affordable, and well-made faux-leather is. I remember the days where “faux leather” was just nice way to describe plastic. There is something about leather and fall that is as classic as peanut butter and jelly.
Zara’s fall collection is overflowing with gorgeous faux-leather looks ranging from skirts to jackets paired with chunky knits and bold accessories. My own faux-leather jacket is a Zara purchase I made a few years ago in Paris. It’s a staple that has stood the test of time, bars, and weather, yes even the wet kind.

Yesterday, I tweeted this awesome article from the New York Magazine’s fashion blog, The Cut. The slide show curated some seriously chic, vegan garb. One of my favorite finds from the slideshow was Shoe Cult, the vegan shoe brand from Nasty Gal. As a newbie to cruelty-free clothes, I’ve acquainted myself with brands like Nicora Johns and, of course, Stella McCartney, but I’m thrilled that I keep discovering vegan brands all.the.time. Nasty Gal knows what they are doing when it comes to shoes. I easily could have shared 10 more shoes that I’m lusting over. These ones are classics:
Nicole Pump $78 [Absolutely perfect work to happy hour pump!]
On the Hunt Leopard Flat $40.60 [leopard print is a neutral as far as I’m concerned]
Ramble Chelsea Boot $88 [a little sexy, a little tough, a little edgy = boot trifecta]

Ted Baker is one of those brands that I’ve heard of but really had no idea what it’s style was like. Recently, I’ve been seeing lots of bloggers posting #ootd shots decked out in Ted Baker. The verdict? Ted Baker is a little retro, a little conservative, and bursting with interesting fabrics, colors, and embellishments.
This sweater is EVERYTHING!
All these outfits have me seriously wanting to upgrade my fall wardrobe. Good thing Ted Baker is running their fall sale (20% off everything with the code: 20DAY)!

So Squarespace is great appearance-wise, but I frankly don’t feel like paying for it anymore…. so I’m back on WordPress. Woo!
